As food demand continues to rise, bilateral trade between these regions is expanding, with $90 billion worth of agricultural goods traded annually. The Asia Africa Agri Alliance (AAAA) aims to significantly enhance this trade through a range of initiatives. By focusing on streamlining regulations, reducing tariffs, and improving market access, AAAA is helping to create a more efficient and collaborative trade environment.

The alliance is committed to supporting key international agreements such as the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and the ASEAN frameworks, which are instrumental in removing trade barriers and fostering smoother trade flows. These initiatives are designed to unlock the vast potential of Asia-Africa agricultural trade, while also addressing critical issues such as food security, sustainable agriculture, and economic growth across both continents.
